The Tesla Roadster kickflip video, explained
Tesla posted the demonstration on 16 October 2026: "Real life, baby" (the wall run, on X) and "Do a kickflip!" (the flip over the Semi, on X), plus "The Ramp" and "The Kickflip" on YouTube and the full livestream. The kickflip run leaps over a parked Semi truck and a row of Tesla cars, turns over in the air like a skateboard trick and lands in smoke.

The kickflip, second by second
Our own read at 2 frames a second. The wall run is the stunt this site uses, ridden on a convertible, bike, motorbike or skateboard: see the rides.
| Time in the post | What happens |
|---|---|
| 3 to 8 s | Head-on: the car races at the camera along a white line |
| 8 to 11 s | It leaps over the parked Semi and car and rotates |
| 11 to 17 s | Side view: thrusters fire and it rolls over the lineup |
| 17 to 25 s | Low side replay: launch, roll, red and white smoke |
| 25 to 31 s | Close beside the Semi: the flip over the cab |
Ride the wall run yourself
The kickflip is a small light in the dark for most of its shots, so this site uses the wall run instead: pick a convertible, bicycle, motorcycle or skateboard in the studio and upload one photo. 10 credits at 480p.
